Story with a photo - International Mountain

This is a photo I took in Switzerland in the afternoon. The journey from the bottom of the mountain to the top was one for the books. First, we took a trolley up the mountain which showed the scenic beauty of Switzerland and the ride took 30 min. Later, we walked 30 minutes up the mountain and reached this point where I snapped the photo. This photo will always remember because of the effort and how nice the photo came out.

MSJMCW Story

During this multicultural I have experience multiple foods all are different in culture. During lunch my friends and I would go to each booth and give the server a high five for there service in serving other students on there on lunch time. The food can range from burgers to Indian curry to Chinese food. On Monday I told myself that I would try a food that I would never normally eat. So, I tried some Indian curry. When I tried the food my mouth went on a journey across all the spice world. It was very pungent in turmeric and was very spicy. This week has also let me experience and became friends with many new people from every grade group. Until now, I just realized that some freshman's are actually down to earth and are not little kids that think they are the top of the school. This really changed my mind on how I should treat some freshman's I know. This week will always be the best week in my high school career because of the extended lunch and cool kids on the block.

Shutter Speed and Everything After

Paired with Hugh Smith

1. This truck was taken with a slow shutter speed because it is not moving at all. I believe it already stopped sliding on the road when the picture was taken.
2. One rule of composition is the use of diagonals. The truck is at a diagonal angle and the trucks driving in the opposite direction is also slightly angled.
3. One element of art that describes this photo is line. The lines in this picture are clearly depicted by the lines of the trucks and the outlining of the road. Also, the metal protector shows us the roads that are separate.
4. One principal of design in this photo is color. There are many colors in this picture including red, white, blue red, green, and black. All these colors give the sky a good contrast to the photo.
